Ingredients
- 4 8- inch whole wheat pita rounds
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 1–2 cloves garlic (smashed (optional))
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Stack 4 pita rounds and cut into 8 wedges. Measure olive oil into a bowl. Add 1-2 cloves of smashed garlic if desired.
- Place pita wedges and a rimmed baking sheet. Brush pita chips with oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Bake at 375 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool, serve, and enjoy with your favorite cheese, dips, or other appetizers.

We recommend using organic ingredients when possible.
To smash a clove of garlic, peel it and place it on a cutting board. Place the side of a large knife over the clove of garlic and smash it with your hand, being careful to not come in contact with the sharp blade.
Watch your chips closely while they’re baking. They brown quickly so depending on how hot your oven runs, they can quickly turn from nicely browned to kind of charred.
