Bruce Bradley's warm dijon dressing is a quick, go-to sauce that will make your broccoli go from ho-hum to yum in seconds!

Broccoli Dijon

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 heads of broccoli

Warm Dijon Dressing:

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • freshly ground pepper to taste

Instructions

Broccoli:

  1. Cut broccoli into medium, bite-sized pieces with tough stalks trimmed.
  2. Use your favorite method to steam broccoli. (6-7 minutes on stove over gently boiling water or 3-4 minutes in the microwave).
  3. Make sure the broccoli isn’t overcooked. It should be fork tender yet still crisp and green.
  4. Drain broccoli.
  5. Drizzle with warm Dijon dressing and serve.
  6. Watch your family gobble it up!

Warm Dijon Dressing:

  1. Melt butter in a small saucepan.
  2. Add mustard, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Whisk in until butter is fully incorporated and dressing is smooth.

Notes

We recommend using organic ingredients when possible.

Frozen broccoli can be used instead of fresh…simply adjust the cooking times accordingly.
