Real Fruit and Yogurt Parfait

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup yogurt
  • 1/3 -1/2 cup fresh or frozen fruit
  • 1/4 cup granola or roasted nuts

Instructions
 

  • Add yogurt to the your bow. Top with fruit and granola.

Notes

We recommend organic ingredients when possible.
Watch out for granolas with lots of added sugar. If I'm not using my homemade granola, I try to buy an organic granola with 3g or less of added sugar per 1/4 cup serving.
If you and your family are used to sweet yogurt, try transitioning to no added sugars by at first drizzling 1/2 teaspoon of maple syrup over your yogurt before adding the toppings. Slowly, over time, cut back on the maple syrup. Before you know it, you and your family won't be missing that added sugar.
